And the new design is up!
I’m so happy with the way it came out. Ant and I spent several weeks putting it all together, designing a layout, scrapping it, making a new theme, scrapping it. Until I decided on this name and then it all came together. I nestled into picking out colors, drawing little feathers, weeding through fonts, and Ant took all of it and coded it into this!
It still needs a little maintenance, a few things to tweak here and there. I wanted to wait until it was all just right before I activated the new design, but then this morning we thought about it and realized it’s kind of like our house…
We bought this house, tore out the old, build in new, and before we finished the little things like putting in the last of the baseboards and painting bedroom doors, we moved in. Our house is still not finished. But if we hadn’t moved in and started our life here, we wouldn’t have our two girls and all the stories to tell.
Big metaphor for a blog maybe, but it’s always the unimportant little things that I allow to get in my way. But thanks to my encouraging, supportive, persistent husband, those things won’t stop me today.
