Love these little Valentines of ours. They brighten every day. Sometimes it’s a lot to fathom that my love for one person and his love for me could create these two perfect beings. On this Valentine’s Day I’m grateful for them and their unconditional love. And of course my everyday Valentine too.

This year Ant and I enjoyed the day with our two mini Valentines. It was quaint and cozy and heavy on chocolate. Just right!
Here’s a peek into our day:
Ant took the morning off to surprise us with a special Valentine’s breakfast! We all threw on a little pink and headed out to one of our favorite places. After we were stuffed, we stopped for a bit of shopping. Ella Faye has her heart set on a yellow swimsuit we found online – it is a must for her beachbag this Spring. We couldn’t find it in store, but she came away with two new pairs of flip flops in the meantime. It was a lovely relaxed morning. (I also got a few Valentine smiles from the littlest!)
Later in the afternoon, Ant came home with the rest of the ingredients we needed for our Valentine cupcakes. Ella and I got to work making these (doo-licious, as Ella says). Then of course we devoured them.
We fed our mini Valentine, bathed and put her to bed, and ordered take-in for two (and a half). Then Ant and I enjoyed second dessert with molten cakes, vanilla gelato, and berries. A day rich in fun, chocolate, and love. The best! Hope yours was just as sweet!
