Poppy Tries Rice Cereal!

PoppyLou turned six months on the 2nd of July and had her first taste of rice cereal! She seemed to love it!

She loved grabbing the spoon to gnaw on, as she realized a while ago, that’s what hands are for!

Lately she’s eased up on grabbing the spoon so much as I think she knows the cereal will get in her mouth faster without that interference. I love seeing her response each time I lift the spoon from the bowl – her tiny mouth opens wide as her big eyes watch the spoon come near. She reminds me of a little birdie.

PoppyLou’s official six month highlights will be posted shortly. Yes, she will be seven months on Tuesday, but I am just that timely you see. :)

    Oh Poppers! so cute. I love Ella in the background and how she changes her voice to sound like poppers. cute

    Awwwww! <3 So very cute! I can't wait to see them both again! Jonah will be starting rice cereal later this month since he's anxious to join us at the table.
