Over the Weekend

Hello! How was your weekend?

We had a nice one here at Casa Verga (thanks Elyse, for the title). Friday evening we went out to one of our favorite spots, LGO with our lovely friends Erin and Alex. Ella Faye proceeded to eat more slices of pizza than I did. I think the final count was

Mommy: 2

Daddy: 4

Ella: 4

Poppy: yuck, what’s pizza? I live for milk and I’d rather sleep

Does having two kids mean we are going to have to start ordering two pizzas for our family?

We came home and the boys got in some good Fifa play while Erin and I chatted about our blog designs. (A makeover has been in the works for a looong time. Working on it with your husband is a blessing and a curse.)

Ant made breakfast Saturday morning…a tropical oatmeal concoction with strawberries, cherries, and coconut. I was pink and delicious. Then Miss Elyse came to pick me up and we headed out to the AZ blogger meetup. We had a fun drive over and only got lost a little on the one-way streets downtown.

It was so great to see so many local bloggers in one place! I know I could have mixed it up and been a bit more forward and met more people. I think that’s why I like to blog, though! In person I am shy and this way I can hide behind the computer. Anyway, we only went to the daytime activities but the walking tour downtown was a blast and I’m so glad we went! I’m so excited for the next one (and this time I will be sure to do a post about it beforehand)!

I’m so excited to start getting to know all the girls that were there on Saturday. Danielle will have a full list of the attendees up tomorrow and I fully intend to have 50 new subscriptions to catch up on. I really didn’t follow many local blogs but I am so thrilled to get to know some.

Saturday was a big day for Ant too. It was the first time he watched the little ladies on his own for that length of time. He was so supportive and encouraged me to go and spend the day out with friends. I hear all was well…
