According to Ella: “Snow White”
March 14th, 2011

We sat at the lunch table the other day, just finishing up, when suddenly Ella began a dialogue from the story of Snow White. I often think the princess stories are just floating around in her head every second she is awake. Out of the blue she will recite a line from one of her favorite plots or make a reference here or there when she spots a real life similarity. This moment at the lunch table, she must have been overcome and let her little rendition slip out.
I present to you the story of Snow White, according to Ella Faye:
Witch: I see you are dangerous. Take this lovely apple.
Snow White: Hey calm down, Witch. Calm down. Sure I’ll take a bite.
Witch: Hey, my apple! Ahahahahahahaha!!
I had to grab my phone and record what she had said. Her version was even complete with a croaky voice for the witch and a high pitched one for Snow White. I love the dynamic she has created between the sweet (and apparently sassy) Snow White and her wicked stepmother. I love the way she turned their exchange into something so casual. The girl is a storyteller.
