Tonight we went on a midweek family dinner date. We had burritos on the patio of our favorite fresh Mexican restaurant and finished off with a little dessert to go. Kid sized hot chocolates all around – a buck fifty, why the hecks not?
Lately I’ve been feeling very summertime. Our temperatures are in the 70s and I’ve been singing my favorite summer tunes to PoppyLou. I’ve been dreaming of the beach and roadtrips. Of picnics and dining on patios.
This shirt reminds me of the beach, and summertime, and dining on the patio. One out of three’s not bad…

The start of the week’s been rough on me. Time out with my loves is just what I needed. I’m recharged and inspired. Let’s finish off the week right. I’m hoping to soar through it (see my wings?).

PS I have those boots in black and am wearing them right now! Somer if you’re in Canada I got mine at Town Shoes about 3 years ago.
