Well we’ve done it.
We’re officially a family of four. The littlest member is out of my belly and finally in our arms.
Introducing…
She has soft wispy brown hair, beautiful dark grey eyes, the sweetest little mouth, and that amazing baby smell.
She looks just like her sister did two years ago.
It’s all I can do to not look at her face and kiss her cheeks all day long. I’m in a daydream state with this little one. She is perfect, and like I said with Ella Faye, the best of Ant and the best of me.
This first week together has been surreal and sweet, although littered with tough spots. I’ll try and spin it to say we’ve been initiated into family life with two kiddos. Juggling and compromising, trying to keep everyone happy and content. The trying issues have been mine, as the babies of the house are doing wonderfully. (And that’s a situation I’ll favor forever.)
I’ll be back later with our birth story. I’m excited to catch up and welcome Baby Poppy into my little space here. She’s definitely taken over my heart.
We are feeling so blessed, grateful, and in love again.
