33 Weeks (Only Two Weeks Ago…)

I am so behind on maternity photos!  These are from over two weeks ago, before Thanksgiving even…I am going to try to play catch-up this week, so there will be another maternity post later in the week also.

This is the most comfortable dress.  Really, I do mean it.  It almost feels better than wearing my jammies.  It’s so flowy and loose and I don’t even realize it’s on.  I’ve probably over-worn it already.  It’s so comfy I knew I had to wear it on Thanksgiving to accommodate all the sweet potatoes and pie I was going to eat (but not really…you know, the whole blood sugar thing).

Ella has become such a helpful shopper (and look how fast she is too!).  She picked out the color for me and when I put it on in the fitting room, she proclaimed, “Pretty dress, like Cindell-ella!”

So how could I not take it home?

The boots are from an antique store, and I think I adopted them in my high school days.  They’ve been on the top shelf of my closet because when Ella Faye started walking, she’d shove her legs in them and then get stuck.  They reached up to her hips and she couldn’t move her little legs to take a step.  So they quickly became demoted from Mommy’s dress up shoe collection.

I was surprised that they still fit.  I can’t help but feel a little sassy in them.  I feel a bit like Ariel from Footloose.  I still long for some worn in red cowboy boots.
