27 Weeks

Well the week is finally over and I am pretty glad. All week long I have been living a day ahead. This week was filled with appointments…for Ella Faye, for me. It was fairly busy compared to our normal Mommy-and-Ella schedule. We did manage to snag a couple of fun afternoons with two friends, and that is always wonderful.

This morning I went in for my glucose test. I was very not looking forward it (mostly because of the fasting bit) but the juice wasn’t as bad as I built up the memory to be from last time around. I am just hoping I don’t fail this screening again. Because I do know that second tolerance test brings an even worse throat-burning sugary goop. Here’s hoping!

Tomorrow morning we are packing into Daddy’s car and driving a couple hours north to a pumpkin patch! Ant and I are so excited. We hear there’s apple cider, kettle corn, and caramel apples. And Ella’s pretty psyched to see the “boppy boo”s (pumpkins) and donkeys. Pictures sure to come!
