Heigh-Ho!
I am watching Snow White (by myself, sleeping husband beside me…I think he owes me three tacos as I predicted this exactly). Ella Faye’s birthday party is in two weeks and I though I’d better brush up on my Snow White business. The witch really is creepy. Why is it that when we see these scary bits when we’re all grown up, they seem so much worse than when we were little? Poor Snow White…
I am late to posting my maternity photos this week and late to a handful of other posts I had lined up. I woke up Thursday morning with the start of a cold and by Friday I was worse for wear. Luckily Ant came home in the morning to take over and make lunch and get us off to our doctor appointment only five minutes late. Today I’ve entered the stage where my nose is of no use at all. Having a cold while you’re pregnant is such a drag! Nothing to do but let it run its course…
But let’s focus on a happier time – heading out to dinner with the husband on our date night last Friday. We had a housemade Ding Dong for dessert. It was nice.
Today was nice too, actually. Ant fixed up some banana pancakes (cue Jack Johnson song) and cappuccinos loaded with the essence of Fall. I crocheted up a new little Poppy cap while Ella and Daddy played “Woowy-Buzz-Walkin’s.” Then I made Ella a cute little skirt with fabric I’d set aside for her before she was born. While Ella and Daddy played “Woowy-Buzz-Walkin’s.” Then I made lunch while Daddy tried to convince Ella it was time for a break from “Woowy-Buzz-Walkin’s.”
She loves this game. Her imaginative play is really kicking in and she is happy as a clam to walk her little toys all around the house making up voices and stories for them as she goes. It only gets more fun when Daddy is around.
It just hit me today that he is going to be so outnumbered. Three girls to one boy. Oh boy. That means six feet on him when we snuggle on the couch. Potential for three mood swings at once. Two little girls to adore him, and one girl to smooch on him. I think he can handle it.

So here’s the rundown:
Sweater: Old Navy
Jeggings (yes, I bought jeggings. I think it was by mistake? I saw the elastic waistband and couldn’t put them down. They’re now the most comfortable pants I own. I just noticed this week that there is no button or zipper…awkward.): F21

Katy, I love love love those first couple of pictures. you look so dang cute! Oh and when do you guys think you are going to divulge the new name? I’m just dying to know. I think it might make it easier to buy her cute outfits in I knew her name
