This time around the baby block, it struck me to take belly photos starting at 14 weeks. Although you can’t really spot a baby belly here, I certainly felt that pregnant belly pooch. The extra poofiness around my midsection had already convinced me to employ the hairband-pant-button-extender. (And I am going to ride that wave as long as I can.)
It was the 4th of July and we took these shots just before heading out for family festivities.
I had been attempting to explain to Ella Faye that Mommy is growing a baby in her belly. This day I asked her, “Where’s our baby?”
To my surprise, she showed me just where our baby is…
(She’s since began calling my belly a house, stating that the baby is in the house in Mama’s belly. I like her analogy. Is she a smartypants?)
Extra shots because Ella Faye was dishing out cute faces, and it was a holiday, so why the heck not?
