Here’s to hope, here’s to change. Here’s to inspiration.

So yesterday we strolled over & dropped our mail-in ballots into the voting box. Ella’s first taste of patriotism. My first time voting for President. Admittedly, ashamedly, I did not vote 4 years ago. I should have, & I don’t know why I didn’t…I guess I wasn’t feeling hopeful. I didn’t understand the magnitude. I was lazy. This time around though, I get things, & I’ve paid attention. I am proud to have practiced my right & privilege. And I am proud to be able to feel such confidence in our new leader.
