a Burrito…

…& a Barq’s…

We had Amy’s burritos for lunch today…mmm, I love Amy’s burritos. I love burritos. Anyhow, a line from a song immediately popped into my head & threw me back 16 years. Wow, 16 years? I was 8. That’s insane. My family loooved the country back then. Ah, the good old days of camping & Shania Twain, me in stir-up leggings & glittered jelly shoes. I sang the lyric to Anthony, who of course looked at me like a silly twit. “You’ve never heard that song before?” Duh.

So this is for my sister, who is likely the only one that will appreciate this video & amazing song.

Oh yes, I feel lucky…

Happy Friday!

(For the record, this song did bring a hearty grin to Anthony’s face. Don’t lie, Anthony, I saw it.)

Hahaha! Yes of course. This reminds me of summers at the Sisk’s playing pool and swimming and watching CMT. Wow, we sound like hicks.

Required soon: a compendium of camping music to take you back!

PS – embarrassing, but I admit I actually get this song stuck in my head quite frequently – every time I “cross against a light”, in fact, which in San Francisco is very often. Now, of course, it will in turn remind me of you. Which is lovely.
